Our Story

Who We Are

Welcome to the Mid Lanark Amateur Radio Society! We are a vibrant community of radio enthusiasts based at the Newarthill Community Education Centre in Motherwell. Established in 1949, our club meets every Friday night from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, where we explore HF, VHF UHF, and Digital radio.

We have 2 callsigns:

GM3PXK, mainly for HF work & GM1XOI for VHF/UHF work.

We invite new members to join us and share in our passion for radio. For any enquiries, feel free to drop us a message or email using the links provided, or better still, coming along on a Friday night.

73, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
